Bring a masterpiece home with you, and own a work of art by Pablo Picasso, the greatest and most influential artist of the 20th century. An artistic genius who demonstrated extraordinary talent throughout his life, Picasso was passionately creative in every genre of art and was also responsible for significant developments in painting, sculpture, printmaking and ceramics. To date, there are few artists who compare to Picasso’s sheer versatility and creative vision.
Widely believed to be inspired by Marie-Thérèse Walter, Femme au chapeau was a portrait of his muse created by Picasso in 1935. Throughout the years that they spent together, the tones and colours used to portray Marie-Thérèse were often bright, youthful and full of vitality. This period of time resulted in some of Picasso’s most vibrant and visually dramatic portraits.
As a form of textile art, the Jules Pansu company is the only weaver allowed to create a collection from the paintings of Pablo Picasso with approval from the Picasso Administration. All works are reproduced without modification, in strict compliance with the original colors and in full, perfectly faithful to Picasso's paintings with the agreement of the Picasso Estate.
